Welcome to Grossman & Brough House, Maitland

Grossmann House, Maitland is one of two mirror image, Victorian Regency properties, built side by side on the same lot in 1870-71 for the prosperous business partners, Isaac Beckett and Samuel Owen.
The National Trust holds an extensive collection of 19th century costumes and textiles at Grossmann House, linked to lifestyles and industry in the region. Examples from the collection are on display. Internally, the house reflects a prosperous Victorian ambiance. In season, an antique rose garden is a highlight.
Lectures and other special events are organised for National Trust members and friends.
